Comemorado na data do aniversário do ex-presidente Juscelino Kubitschek, que era fascinado por esse costume artístico, o Dia da Seresta resgata a tradição de música e poesia popular, com linha melódica romântica, suave, envolvente. Inventado pelos brasileiros em meados do século XX, é o termo popular para “serenata”. Trata-se do ato de se cantar músicas de caráter sentimental pelas ruas à noite, parando diante das janelas das namoradas.
